Kernel Canteen is run by a husband and wife team, Dan and Kate, who are passionate about bringing people together over delicious simple foods. Brighton, their home city is the perfect place to launch their fine food fast concept.

    Head Of Table

    After 18 years as a music consultant for film and commercials, he made the move to hospitality. Seeking a fresh creative challenge and more meaningful local connections, Kernel Canteen is his vision.

  • Kate

    Menu Maker

    A trained chef and nutritionist, she’s cooked everywhere from London’s top dining tables to remote boat expeditions in Antarctica. Inspired by old traditions and global palettes she creates nourishing food that’s big on flavour.
