Minimising our environmental impact through sensible sourcing and serving policies.

Cooking 90% of our menu fresh in kitchen, using as much seasonal and local produce as possible. This reduces our carbon footprint, supports the local economy and avoids unnecessary industrial food processes.

Responsible waste disposal through our partner Recorra, launched by Friends Of The Earth back in the 90s. They recycle our coffee grounds and ethically dispose of all our waste.

Using exclusively:

  2. Recycled plastic cups for in house

  3. Eco certified cleaning products

Shelf stable ultra processed foods (UPFs) dominate modern diets at a huge cost to our health, environment and food culture. Much like the hidden costs of cheap fossil fuels.

With the move to cleaner fuels we will champion the same to cleaner foods, packaging and processes.

It’s not about going backwards, but going forwards with a purpose and a passion.

Develop our kitchen garden by introducing our own seed sprouting and mircoherbs into our preparations.

We are committed to further reducing single use and micro plastics in the kitchen.
